Our main repairman, Dave Egan, left, is a former guitar tech for Jackson Browne and house sound engineer for the Catalyst in Santa Cruz, CA, one of the West Coast's longest-running and most-famous venues. A veteran banjo instructor and banjo repairman, Egan is also a member in good standing (currently at least) of the Santa Cruz Ukulele Society. Owner Dave Handloff (left with hammer) also is well-respected veteran repairman who is known worldwide for his amazing knowledge of a wide variety of string instruments and accessories. Dave has also worked as a musician and sound engineer for Bob Weir, Maria Muldaur and many others. He's seen here with legendary luthier Roy McAllister.
